Progression

Here is a photo update for the portrait.

There are things I am still not perfectly happy with, but overall, I'm pleased. It isn't finished. There is much to do- but I can only do it when I'm "feeling" the work. Besides- For this altar, there is much more than the portrait so after I upload these images I'm beading a chandelier to fit into the altar to give it light.

Underpainting's first steps.

A little more accomplished. Unhappy with her mouth. Very happy with the rest.

Adding hair. Slowly manipulating shapes. Eyes, mouth fixes.

Who can forget her glasses?
More mouth manipulation. More hair. More paint. A bug in her ear that needs fixing. Still not a perfect mouth, but better.

Overall. Happy.
